The design and renovation process begins with an initial consultation to discuss the needs and wants of the client, and to understand the scope of what is involved. Budget, timelines and contracts are all discussed before the project moves ahead, and often a second and third consultation are required to finalize finishes, furnishings and the like.
Boutique Touch Interiors realizes that renovating can be a very stressful time, and we work hard to ensure each project moves as swiftly as possible to ease your transition.
Because each project is uniquely different, yours may encompass some or all of the following:
Colour Scheme Development – A custom colour scheme generally takes between 1 and 3 hours and is developed to complement and enhance current décor and finishes. In the event that new furniture and/or finishes are being selected, these items, or photos and samples, will need to be provided in order to be properly incorporated into the colour scheme. Recommendations and/or coordination of painting services can also be arranged as needed.
Furniture Selection and Arrangement – This process can involve the purchasing of new furniture pieces to complement existing items, rearrangement of current furnishings to create more functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces, or complete refurnishing of a space, home or office. This process is often complemented with accessorizing to finish the look.
Window Treatments – Together with one of Boutique Touch Interior’s window covering suppliers, we will come to your home and select materials and designs to complement your interior. Site measurements, installation and payment is done directly through the supplier. A visit to the supplier is often necessary to finalize fabrics and designs and make payment.
Product Selection/Sample Sourcing – Boutique Touch Interiors can assist in your design project or renovation by recommending and sourcing a variety of flooring, trim, lighting, cabinet, tile and countertop options that will best suit your needs, lifestyle and overall design.
Project Management – From on-site supervision of tradespeople to coordinating delivery and installation dates, Boutique Touch Interiors can oversee your project through to completion and deal with any issues promptly as they arise. Project Management is included in most renovation contracts.
Personal & Client Shopping – This is arranged on an individual project basis as required.
